The clue is in the title, but it’s more than that. One of the great things about having an Aston Martin is the way it makes you feel and that may mean different things for different people. But why should you have the same Aston Martin as everyone else? It could be argued by the purists that the cars are at the pinnacle of design and why on earth would you want to change such an icon, I’m not talking about adding extra wings, wide wheels and bling, although it’s your car, so why not! But more subtle things that augment the driving experience or make driving easier on our congested roads.
We’re well known for adding electronics to Aston’s and have been for quite a few years now, initially starting with Parrot hands free kits, iPod kits and parking cameras. Technology evolves at a rapid pace and in recent years we saw the advent of music streaming rather than a CD changer, real time mapping and live traffic reports to your phone rather than a navigation systems based from a DVD map disc that soon went out of date. Many vehicle manufacturers keep pace well with technology, some better than others, but having the ability to retrofit the latest tech to older cars without changing the aesthetics should be celebrated.
Early Gaydon cars are beginning to be more accessible to a wider audience as the values of the early cars are getting into the levels of more run of the mill manufacturers but the tech inside your Vantage or DB9 can be a little lack lustre. We can certainly help with all aspects of this. But this is only part of the story, often its not adding to the car that owners require but refreshing what’s already in the car that may be getting a little tired or worn out, leather, headlining, dash boards etc. Aston’s are a great place to sit, but looking at the lifting leather or cracked dash can begin to annoy our sensibilities, we can help with all of these, even by collecting the car from you to return to our base in Tewkesbury to have the work done.
Whilst we aren’t known for doing the oily bits on Aston’s we know plenty of good people in all parts of the country that can help with that, so whilst I don’t like the term, we really can be a ‘one stop shop’ for your Aston requirements. Aston Installations, it does what it says on the tin!
